Safeguarding

The Benefice of St Dunstan, St Mildred and St Peter, is committed to providing a safe place for everyone within our church community - and especially children, young people and vulnerable adults.  All clergy and volunteers involved with children or vulnerable adults in the three churches comply with the Church of England Safeguarding Policy.

The Church of England Safeguarding Handbook can be found here.

The Benefice Safeguarding Coordinator is the Reverend Jo Richards. She has responsibility for ensuring that all people in our parishes who are undertaking work, or having any unsupervised contact with children and vulnerable adults, are trained in accordance with the requirements of the Church of England. She is is supported by a Jeanie Armstrong, the Safeguarding Officer at St Dunstan's and John Morrison, the Safeguarding Officer at St Peter's and St Mildred's.  Contact details for all three can be found below.

More information about the Church of England's commitment to safeguarding can be found here.
